• When: 30 Aug 2015
  • 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Location: Mohala Farms, Waialua.

Members and families only.

We are excited to announce our Potluck for the summer at Mohala Farms amongst the beautiful rolling hills of Waialua, Oahu.

Please bring your family and join us on this wonderful, ORGANIC farm of Kathy and Mark’s on the last Sunday of August. This is a networking event so we are limiting it to members and their families only.

Please bring a dish which uses one or more of the produce which Mohala grows. The dish does not need to be vegetarian or vegan, but we are trying to help Kathy and Mark by perhaps offering dishes and recipes we and they can post online to customers.

Here is what Mohala grows:collards, kale, green beans, watermelon radish, lettuce, herbs (parsley, lemon and lime basil, tarragon, lemongrass), escarole and beets.

Dress is cool and casual, it can get hot up there but we will be in a covered lanai.

Please RSVP by Monday, August 24th.

Directions:H-1 to H-2.    H-2 past Schofield Barracks. Keep going forward. At fork in road, take left fork, following sign to Waialua (right fork is to North Shore).

Along Kaukonahua Road, drive through agricultural fields, then begin winding down road through ironwood trees (total of about 6-7 miles). When the road levels out and straightens out, look for flashing light directly OVER the road (not on the side of the road). This is Thompson’s Corner. Turn left at Yellow Iron gate with sign “Goats for Sale”. .Head down this paved road towards Waianae mountains. Go straight ½ mile, past ruins of old church and through second Green gate.  Go straight about 500 yards. DON’T TURN ON DIRT ROAD IMMEDIATELY ON THE LEFT. Continue straight past the cemetery on the right and we are the first driveway on the left immediately between the Kou tree and Coconut tree.

Where Kaukaonahua Rd meets Farrington Hwy. If you get lost you can also go to www.mohalafarms.org and there is a map to help.
