DAMES WHO DONATE

Supporting the Next Generation

The Hawai‘i Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier’s goal is to offer scholarships for education and continuing education grants for mentorships both locally and abroad to kamaaina female applicants who are pursuing careers in the food, fine beverage and hospitality industries. These are to range between $500 to $5,000 and will be based on financial need, achievements, experience, and potential for success in the culinary industry. The Mission of “Dames who Donate” is to promote and inspire local women to dream big and become leaders in their chosen field.

Fundraising Efforts

Dames who Donate raises funds through events, sales of specialty food and gift items created by our Dames, services and culinary experiences, and direct donations. Successful past events and efforts have included our Julia Child Dinner—An Evening in Celebration of French Cuisine and the Life of Julia Child—and our annual holiday basket sale.
