Ho‘omau Maker: Rancher’s Daughter Apothecary

Founder Sharleen Andrade

Rancher’s Daughter Apothecary was founded by Sharleen Andrade, a fifth-generation rancher’s daughter from Kaua‘i. Her family ranches and harvests locally; Sharleen turns their tallow into clean, small-batch skincare. Created for her daughter, Whipped Tallow Body Balm is now a community favorite—rooted in the mission to keep cattle, food, and value at home in Hawai‘i.

I’m excited to share a special opportunity to carry our handcrafted Rancher’s Daughter Apothecary products in your store. Every product is made right here on Kaua‘i, in small batches, using old-fashioned methods and thoughtfully chosen organic ingredients.

What makes our line truly unique is that I personally harvest and render the tallow from 100% pasture-raised, grass-fed cattle from my dad’s ranch. This isn’t just skincare—it’s a return to genuine, time-honored traditions. From the ranch to the apothecary, everything is locally raised, made with care, and crafted with purpose.

Our Tallow Balm is a luxurious blend of 100% grass-fed tallow and organic olive oil, whipped into a silky texture that deeply nourishes, heals, and protects your skin. Packed with essential vitamins A, D, K, E, and B12, it provides whole-skin nourishment without compromise.
